Kore, P41 and Decomposer's new EP for Festinalente Dischi, will be released on Friday 17 December 2021, with distribution by Believe.
“Kore” is a mixture of carnal rhythms and melodic climaxes that delivers a musical simulacrum of vivacity and unstable stillness to the listener.
From the opening track “Ishkur”, Persian goddess of storms, the synthetic horns start a slow but dizzying climb towards “Kore”, the EP's title track. Drums’ irrepressible euphoria is torn apart by synths similar to lightings, which precede the branching of the clouds. Closing, “Iride”: a quiet and cathartic place, only shaken by the rhythmic movement of the cymbals, like a drizzle after a rainstorm.
